Mayen McClain - 3D/Technical Artist

Who am I?

I am Mayen McClain, I’m a 3D/Technical artist. I was heavily influenced early by Saturday morning cartoons, the wild world of Japanese anime, and the fantastical escapism of video games. This obsession led me from being a kid doodling fanart in his room and grinding in World Of Warcraft, into the field of animation and games. 

My experience heavily lies in my proficiency as a 3D artist and Technical artist. However, my passion and dedication have led me to wear multiple hats as both a 3D artist and a game developer. I have assisted in all aspects of the 3D production pipeline, ranging from high-resolution sculpts, game-engine optimized low-poly models, environmental layout, visual effect particles, and basic rigging. Having worked on experiences ranging from interactive experiences to VR and mobile allows me to easily adapt to various scenarios and platforms. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from indie, pc, and VR games. Recent projects include Among Us VR, Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire, and Arboreal.
